Coffman Cove, AK June 6, 2015 through June 14, 2015.

Eagle Creek- June 7, 2015, fy rod, spin rod, light tackle. Mepps Aglia-Copper spoon, Elk Hair Caddis. Fishing was great, lots of nice sized Cutthroat, a few decent early Dolly Varden, flows were minimal, not much water, most of the Dolly’s were pooled up at the mouth of the Creek. Caught a few nice ones though.

Coffman Creek- Same tackle, No water= no fish. Not a bite.

Hatchery Creek- Same tackle, not a bite, fish were pooled up at the mouth of Sweetwater Lake. Sockeye were present at the mouth, did not have an opportunity to fish it. Reports of early Sockeye limits by numerous fishermen.

Halibut fishing was awesome, not going to tell you where we went, not far from Coffman Cove though. We limited in 1.5 hours.

King Salmon are in, they were biting on spoons and herring with green flasher. Best place to fish was in the cove. We did very well, 26 pounder and a 12 pounder.

June 27th- King Salmon and Coho are prevalent. Guides, locals, and go your own fisherman are slaying them. Kings and Coho are in the mouth of the cove, no need to travel distance.
